Y’all haters going out sad
Like yeah this prolly helped him and his family grow up in the burbs but wtf does this have to do w the music industry

Yes these two have pull in the hip hop industry
they look like sum real niggas fr
F***ing crybaby
Damn some of y'all are way madder than I supposedly am haha.
I'm really not that pressed about it. As someone who's had to claw my way up through life, it does bother me slightly that some people get to start out on easy mode and others don't. But it's all good, clout isn't everything and there's always another way to find happiness.
I can't reply to all these posts but I'll try to get around to at least a few of them at some point.

The absolute hatred and jealousy people on this site have for anyone successful is wild. Always looking for some sliver of validation for why someone else was possibly able to make it big
did you look at the site? highly doubt this company has any sway in the music industry, although I’m sure his parents did fine for themselves.
it’s like a local sign company
a bit disingenuous lol
making signs ≠ ability to break into the industry
rev runs own sons could hardly blow up in rap and they had some of the biggest connections out there
at the end of the day the people have to like your music
I wish my parents owned one of the biggest marketing franchises in Kentucky
Dude called it marketing, like some big corporate sponsor when it’s basically a f***ing FastSigns franchise lmaoooooooo
They’re putting up signs outsides churches and doctor offices and dudes acting like they’re tech billionaires
Yeah but he probably didn't. People who work in signs could know PR firms, marketing firms, etc. I'm not saying he's automatically a plant, but the likely nepotism and white privilege playing major roles in his career don't sit well with me.
Lot of hoops you’re jumping through
what do you mean marketing push?
I heard rumors from people from Louisville that he had free advertising around the city (like billboards) at some point before blowing up. Also he just came from money in general. Even if his family just worked in signs, they're still CEOs. They probably have connections to PR firms, could buy opportunities that others didn't.
This is stupid lol you are saying he isn't "self made" because his parents may have created some signs for him.
You can still be self made AND have people who support your art.
Money and family background alone are just part of the equation, that's true. Talent and work ethic still play into it. But there's a lot of kids from bad backgrounds who have the talent and work ethic, without the money and family background.
But if this is where the culture is at, it's all good. I'm just seeing what people think. Maybe upper class white kids do need a voice in rap. At the end of the day, there's more things to focus energy on.

The second post I made above was meant to respond to people saying things like that
Money and connections alone don't blow somebody up, it's just part of it. I acknowledged from the very first post that Jack put work in and he had talent. But again, there's kids from the hood who put in just as much work, have just as much talent, but go nowhere.
I want the game to be more even for kids like that, but you know, maybe people would be better off looking at other opportunities, businesses outside of rap. Cultures shift, and if the people speak, I can't hate that. Driven people will find some other avenue to succeed in.

Yeah bro that’s how the world works lmao
You need money to make it. You need money to buy studio time, get put on blogs, etc etc
That’s not just the music industry. You need money and connections to do things.
There are very few people who make it in talent alone and the ones that do end up as the greatest of all time in their profession
