Having some money makes it easier to break in the industry by being able to afford making your artist into a brand
Money talks in any industry ever . Having connections doesn’t have to be as extreme as his parents shaking hands with LA Reid. Someone with money can pay influencers and A&Rs to spread the name. Put them in music studios where big names also record and insure a better quality output. Put them in expensive trendier clothes to help their image. Pay for higher quality visuals. Advertising.
