Do ya want him to talk about it or not talk about it lol
I know
It seems like a lose lose lol
I dunno, I gotta think on it, but the way the subject is handled feels weird to me for some reason
Shoulda been second or third song, tbh, I woulda opened with Denver
Yeah, definitely, that’s part of the problem
He’s only talking about it now because he’s falling off tbh
Early on I thought his whole image was how down he was, I would’ve never expected this from him in a million years
Well he's a bigger artist, he's got more looks and more people talking bout to the point uzi had to defend him
Shoulda been second or third song, tbh, I woulda opened with Denver
Got to thinking about it and I’d order the album like this if I was sequencing it:
Denver
Ambitious
They Don’t’ Love It
Is That Ight?
Gang Gang Gang
Common Ground
Blame On Me
No Enhancers
It Can’t Be
Questions
gang gang gang and questions are really f***ing weird and he shouldve never put them on the album
why
Anecdotal but my friend that’s a victim of sexual violence said she hated gang gang gang and turned the album off after that
Jack Harlow beating the "rapper has no substance" allegations
This album is like the white Mr Morale and I mean that in a bad way
this kinda nice ngl
"It Can't Be" had potential to be his most self-aware and vulnerable song ever.
But instead of reflecting on how people dislike him solely because he's white, he decides to downplay how much his skin color has to do with his success. Can he rap? Yes. Is it easier for him to be commercially successful because he's also white? Yes.
Jack Harlow might’ve just invented the reverse race card with this
Mac said "if I ain't in your top 5 then you're a racist"
I’m not mad at this
I think it’s a step in the right direction
I still feel like he has some walls up
The beat selection is really nice
Some bars that miss the mark a bit / don’t entirely feel genuine, but some thoughtful ones too
They Don’t Love It and Denver are tasty

That was funny and tongue in cheek

So instead of him being confident and swaggy (which is what he’s known for)
You want him to sit there and cry about people not liking him for his skin color?
It Can’t Be is the only way Jack could ever tackle the subject. It’s perfect for him.
