I would agree. I would also agree that Jack isn’t where he’s at purely because he’s white. But Mac’s struggle here is internal. He has doubts about himself, his own talent, and how much he benefits from being white. Jack’s struggle seems to be that he’s tired of people telling him about his privilege. And I’m not here to police people’s struggles but it’s a really unsympathetic take and one I’m not really interested in hearing
