    J. Cole didn't just drop music; he exposed the industry's biggest blind spot.

Everyone is calling it "nostalgia." They're wrong.

    This isn't a throwback-it's a hostile takeover of distribution.

    No Spotify tax.

    No algorithmic gatekeepers.

No hoping the "New Music Friday" gods pick you.

One CD. One handshake. One story that lives for 20 years.

You right. XV gave me a demo cd of zero heroes back in the day and I will never forget it and how cool that was to me.

  • The Kendrick avys be going through it when anyone other than Kendrick is appreciated in any way

  • He definitely put too much pressure on this album, there aren't nearly enough risks being taken for it to be interesting in the slightest sadly

I can't help but somehow feel like as much as I might like this album, there's this kind of branding in the air that is reminiscent of when logic dropped 'Everybody' and somehow made it abundantly clear that if you criticised the music, you were marked out as a bad person in the logic fan book of evil

    No?

Hate Kendrick keep getting mentioned in Cole’s moments and amongst all this

He’s in conversation with Beethoven and Mozart.

Cole the nicest out right now though.
