2nd listen I'm doing disc 1 today, disc 2 tmrw

I'm slightly more positive on disc 1 than first listen but I still think it's a let down. Like it's just a super standard Cole album, it's not the earth shattering classic he was claiming. Any song could have been on any other Cole album

havent listened to it yet and probably never will but “J. Cole raps from the perspective of Biggie and Tupac” is like an NBACentel headline for rap

This may be a hot take but so far I'm feeling like Off Season was the way more enjoyable listen, rapping is as good, production better
