anexpressionofgodMan album was a huge let down. No great tracks, just straight mid. D2T2 was the closest thing but felt like it needed more. Instrumentally it was what I was wanting but lyrically was not the caliber Cole was at on The Off Season

Not sure what made these verses seem so special to Cole, maybe they are personal for him but from the outside looking in they just seem like ordinary Cole verse

It's hard to say that because the thing that makes them similar is the way they parrot other rappers in a student of the game way. Like, I would say The Fall Off is the most Cole has ever done that and Logic actually did it a lot more first
