I love the grown '39 yr old' Cole much more than the 29 era he was trying to replicate on Disc 1. Disc 1 is fine/good, but it feels like he tried to go back and write and drop the kind of album he REALLY wanted to drop 15 years ago as a debut, I get it, but we can't go back in time dawg. Sideline story is what we got and its fine.
At 39/40, focus on your current perspective/life imo, but aye it's not up to me.Also, Disc 2 track 2 / Falling off is inevitable stays so good man, may be the best song on the album to me
