aint no way some bullshit ass DMX interpolation got u doing this
Whatās crazy is that thereās actually a solid album in here
1. SAFETY
2. Run a Train
3. Legacy
4. Bunce Road Blues
5. Drum n Bass
6. Lonely at the Top
7. Fall off is inevitable
8. The Villest
9. Man up above
And then throw his fake hard songs like poor thang and who tf is u on at the end as bonus
Itās done.
First listen, Disc 1 is much more of an interesting listen, and has a lot more going on, highs and lows. Disc 2 just reminds me ofā¦typical Cole. Some songs and performances that work, but too inconsistent to call it worthwhile. Itās a double disc, so imma gonna listen more obviously, but I canāt lie, Disc 2 being Coleās final album kinda blows. Heās been potential-man his whole career and felt like he never fully got there artistically
That biggie/pac song wack as hell tho
My review is it was certainly an album
I feel like in 24 tracks I learned almost nothing about J Cole besides that like he raps and is from Fayetteville
Which is crazy because like he acknowledged that things happen, but like as far as providing his own unique perspective or opinions? None that I can remember
He's just going "yup the world has things my name is j Cole and I'm a regular guy that raps"
Scorpion side B or Disk 39?
Watch ur mouth
Disc 2 was so much better. I love Disc 1 too but my gosh. Take out life sentence and it might actually be a classic.
How yall are talking make me feel yall never heard killers by Cole. Some of the songs have that energy.
I agree.
Iām actually surprised people seem to hate Disc 2 in here.

Album kinda has that same sloppiness FATD had and thats not a good thing
You cant compare this to that dogshit.
Lowkey the best song for me so far.
Ngl, that s*** started getting a little lengthy
No Diddy
This really is that The Come up and The Warm Up vibes but as a mature Cole. Love everything about this. The beats, the singing, the rapping.
Exactly what I was saying. He sounds just like that. I wanted an album from him rapping like his mixtapes for years. This s*** too good. He went back to his roots.
Unfortunately rap has changed so much so songs like this arenāt appreciated by the mainstream audience anymore. But trust people who care for the craft will f*** with it the long way. And I know thatās all Cole cares for. The message is very clear in the songs on who he doesnāt care to appease.
