Not even trying to hate on him, but in my years of listening to Cole I have never gotten the feeling he has the depth for that much music on an album. Lotta times I'd say that's completely fine and works best for him, because he has a habit of falling into redundancy with his topics, rapping style, and at worst, his production. The latter is a big reason why it's been so crucial that he's been working with more producers outside of himself and people who been in Dreamville for his last two projects.
If this is about to be a double album with little to no features, and it's him carrying the bulk of the production I beg him to find a way to cut this s*** down. I am not tryna listen to 24 tracks of that. To me, it'd start becoming like a long KOD where it gets obnoxiously preachy and trying to make the shallow end of a pool deep.
His die hard fans will obviously not care because I'm sure they're just here for as much music as possible from a retirement album. But for someone like me who was once a big fan and became a casual listener, I'm really hoping this ain't bloated double album just for the sake of it being a double album because "All the greats got one, so I need one!"
