KOD I think I just rate it highly cause it it’s deadass an underrated Cole project cause of the timing it came out in. the nigga was trying a lot of different flows and getting some out the box creativity for the type of rapper he supposed to be. he was really working with the sounds of the time well too, it’s not aging bad at all. idk it was more fun than just deep to me but I think people got to stuck on the corny messaging that the music just didn’t hit as well
I just dont think the music is all that great although I like a few songs on KOD
I will say the cover is fantastic but damn I really hate the singles like ATM
