In the inevitable podcast series with Ibs and elsewhere, he talked about how FHD was his redemption for Coleworld, which he had an issue with his approach to creating that album.
In this intro screen, he alluded to it again “To do on my last what I was unable to to do on my first.”
Ok thanks haven't seen that podcast yet.
I thought that was more related to the idea of having a reasonable doubt/illmatic last
I am a fan of artists singing even with their non traditional skills like Kanye or Drake but hell to the nah on that Miguel bodied that
Cole singing has gotten better since then tho

For sure but in that specific case though Miguel really brought out the moody vibe of the song. Honestly they work well together would not be surprised to see him on here at all

He’s being nice tbh he knows Roc Nation/Jay Z f***ed him over by not letting him release FNL as his debut. Imagine your boss telling some other light skinned dude to your face to give you a hit lmao

Hos relationship with Jay really is interesting especially with Cole being his flag ship artist
Hope he does something like Power Trip on here. Doesn’t get discussed a lot but that song was everywhere when it was out. Too many house parties people singing that s***
One of those joints we gonna throw on when we old to ask our kids “what yall know about this?”
At a certain point in the last 5 years you can definitely see a shift to focusing on rhyme schemes and multi-syllabic rhymes than earlier on in his career. It's impressive because he biggest compliment i can give Cole is when he does it it comes off coherent and easy to follow the story he's telling compared to a modern day Eminem who would do it for the sake of doing and really fast too.
Cole definitely leveled up without a question
You was just actively ignoring the internet then spectre made a mashup like a week after it came out
who is that? ima be honest i only use IG DMs for memes and YouTube as far as social media goes, I definitely missed that
Ignorant response, legitimately one of the best new rappers from the city

name still sounds like he’d be a country artist though
Is "The Fall Off" supposed to be his final album or something?
Or am I tripping?

Final album. But we all know how that sometimes goes.
New track's nice!
Y'all tripping.
Cole’s discog is so hit and miss to me that i would probably consider myself a hater more than a fan at this point tbh
new song is great i’m excited for this
