i think its cool, song is ass but i like the idea of a child prolly saying ā€œhey can i try thisā€ and getting the chance

i didnt have that as a kid so maybe im just bias to it because of that

they’re not immune to criticism tho

They can exist, but parents always have rose colored glasses on for their kids art, my fridge is FILLED with terrible drawings, my son has a journal full of half fleshed out ideas, but you’re supposed to build on those as you grow not present them as a finished product

  • she doesnt know s***

Some of y’all think slappers have to be non-lyrical or something and I don’t understand that

I’m not the biggest fan of Cole’s last few studio albums either but to say he hasn’t had a single slap since FHD is just wrong

95 south in a live setting is literally insane

yea 95 South goes crazy at the festival and concert every time

Also acting like Cole ain’t one of the most honest on the mic. lol he WAS honest in his thoughts on it with Port Antonio imo

We’re at the point where unless people are hearing what they want to hear, they’ll say it’s dishonesty.

This is another guy yall empowered who isn’t in rap culture but is easily impressed by the simplest types of symbolism. This ā€œdissectā€ guy can’t relate to Drake cause drake isn’t trying to engage in this type of performative nonsense.

This dude has the nerve to say ā€œwowā€ā€¦

Drake can’t win with the critics if guys like THIS are driving the discourse

They want ā€œrapā€ to be ā€œart projectsā€ and not ā€œmusicā€. They can relate to art. They can’t relate to the music.

For instance, do you think THIS guy listens to R&B music? Thats the same thing Peter Rosenberg discredited himself with in rap music.

niggas like this destroyed critically acclaimed rap

they dont value the s*** niggas like drake good at tbh

imo its like when i watch anime ion really wanna watch one piece i wanna watch a death note but that dont mean imma go say one peace isnt as tasteful etc

Just a slapper. GOMD is a slapper. No Role Modelz is a slapper. Even Love Yourz is a standout track. That's what I need from Cole on this album — songs I feel compelled to return to for years to come.

Love Yourz is good but it’s not a slapper bro be serious rn 😭

If you wanna talk slappers id say off season is like front to back that. Even MDL had crocadile tearz, huntin rabbitz
