    count it up
    count it up
    count it up
    count it

That was designed to be a slapper but it ultimately failed the test.

When? The most I’ve see is blue have a few dance numbers

I dont remember entire rap verses like north and Adonis or using their scribbles as an album cover like FATD

Imagine having your son draw the cover for your album named FAT D***

Nah man that s***s so annoying

And when you say it’s annoying everyone gotta say ā€œwoah man that’s their kid so it gets a passā€

i think its cool, song is ass but i like the idea of a child prolly saying ā€œhey can i try thisā€ and getting the chance

i didnt have that as a kid so maybe im just bias to it because of that

they’re not immune to criticism tho

this is why you can’t view people so black&white

in most other threads, we’d be arguing

but in here? we’re united against those who claim J. Cole has legit slappers

Some of y’all think slappers have to be non-lyrical or something and I don’t understand that

I’m not the biggest fan of Cole’s last few studio albums either but to say he hasn’t had a single slap since FHD is just wrong

95 south in a live setting is literally insane

We talking like universally considered hit slapper or just a slapper

Just a slapper. GOMD is a slapper. No Role Modelz is a slapper. Even Love Yourz is a standout track. That's what I need from Cole on this album — songs I feel compelled to return to for years to come.

This is another guy yall empowered who isn’t in rap culture but is easily impressed by the simplest types of symbolism. This ā€œdissectā€ guy can’t relate to Drake cause drake isn’t trying to engage in this type of performative nonsense.

This dude has the nerve to say ā€œwowā€ā€¦

Drake can’t win with the critics if guys like THIS are driving the discourse

They want ā€œrapā€ to be ā€œart projectsā€ and not ā€œmusicā€. They can relate to art. They can’t relate to the music.

For instance, do you think THIS guy listens to R&B music? Thats the same thing Peter Rosenberg discredited himself with in rap music.

i love these lines so much

Me and my old man, we just get f***ed up every night
He said, "Son, these hoes just don't love you"
I said, "I'll keep that in mind"
Those ain't words to live by, wouldn't call that sound advice
Our future doesn't sound too bright
But I just nod and say, "You're right, " I do

i think this perfectly encapsulates how i feel listening to drake bra

It’s just annoying when they do too much

Even removing the horrid diss track, I still don’t think it’s that great.

It’s fine but it’s treated like dirt s*** for some reason

A lil too much drake influence however
