Hello is the only weak song on FHD, and that album is iconic song after iconic song, while also feeling like an album. Not saying this one isn't an album but it don't feel that cohesive.
Wet dreams exists
Not feeling this album as much as I was a week tbh, as far as his studio albums go FHD is his best
Still a solid album but the trappier sounding tracks aren’t doing it for me on
Repeat listens

Yes, Wet Dreamz exists as a better and more iconic song than Hello

It’s f***ing terrible bro, legitimately horrendous

It’s going down as a Storytelling classic up there with Kick Push, It Was A Good Day, Children’s Story, and I Gave You Power

Nah a boom bap story telling rap song ain’t going 4X platinum for no reason. It’s a classic.
This literally gets better every listen; the best type of album. Easily AOTY so far and there’s only a few acts capable of topping this

Facts
Best J. Cole project since 2014 Forest Hills Drive
Might be his best album period
still prefer The Warm Up as his best project though
Is anyone else treating Lion King On Ice as kind of a bonus track?
I put it after the Climb Back on my playlist

He should've put it on this project. I don't know why he left it off. It would fit on here perfectly.
Punching the clock is too fire man
Dope track. If he had one more verse on it, it could've been a top 5 Cole song ever.

That’s exactly why I made that post. I just listened to it and was like why tf did he leave this off?

It’s not too big of a deal, I thought the hook was weak and didn’t like how the song ended (little awkward imo)
Climb Back is much better
Climb Back might be the most important track on here. Glues the latter half of the album together in a really cool way.
Anyway it’s been a week later and I still think this is Coles best work yet
