SINGH4YEO is prolly one of the better cole albums tbh
its solid, barring the fold clothes track
Good album with great concept but not enough “bangers” so folks on ktt trash it you know how it goes

4yeo has great songs but it has fat duds too. Some of the songs imo are some of his best though.
whereas KOD after a month i didnt want to hear a track of it at all
Yeah 4YEO definitely got some duds that keep it from being his best. But man when it hits, it hits. The title track is a masterpiece. I was relistening to it today and it almost brought a tear to my eye.

Remember the "fuck J Cole" movement s*** at the time, cause loser junkie nerds were hating lyrical rap at the time

And musically it's all just opinions. Ultimately if the listener gained something positive from what they listened to, that's all that truly matters.
I s*** talk him but only because I feel he’s made uninspired music for a good chunk of a decade and just comes off pretentious when dissing the new generation
