    i don’t think people underestimate how big he is it’s just mindblowing he still has this impact off 1 album that came out over 20 years ago. his run was extremely short compared to guys like wayne who put out hits in multiple eras

    One true classic is all you need tbf Nas could've stopped at Illmatic and still be getting GOAT talks lol Pac and BIG been dead for 30 years and are still top 2 or 5 minimum. Longevity is overrated when it comes to legacy in music and sports. We really only care about the prime years

    If you saw how my white-ass family (positively) responded to Snoops halftime show on Christmas, you might believe this. My 90 year old grandmother knew Snoop. No chance she knows who Kanye is.

    Rs, my coworker that's a 60+ white lady says snoop dogg is her favorite celebrity and has never heard a song , she just liked his personality when he judged on The Voice and sees him in ads

    There was a time when the only thing on the radio was 50 and Usher. They gave the guy a major motion picture. These went triple platinum at the Walmart

    His tours still go top 10 on the year.

    it's simple. 50 has massive, undeniable hits that left a huge cultural impact. Wayne's biggest hits aren't as transcendent, and his most commercially successful album wasn't good enough to leave an impact.

    A lot of what makes Wayne great is spread out across mixtapes that aren't on streaming, features no one listens to, "older" albums like C1 and C2, and on inconsistent albums in the 2nd half of his career. he's a guy you had to be there to appreciate.

    There's more to 50 than GRODT but if you show someone Many Men and In Da Club they'll understand.
