And we gotta remember that the US supported Al qeada in Afghanistan too, and it bit them in the ass afterwards with 9/11 lol. So I doubt they see HTS as some kind of ally.
Also Taliban in Afghanistan and Iran got good relations. So why can't Iran develop some kind of relation with Syrian rebels in the future?
