Am I the only one who is annoyed by the mix and some of the production decisions on this? I love Drake verse but everything else is subpar imo. Bass hella distorted to the point that it’s obvious and audible. Snares sound like stock FL snares from like 05 lol. I like the piano loop, kinda has a menacing feel to it.

I liked the original with the get money sample way better. The mix on that ref was trash too but I feel like it’s a better beat and it matches his flow more. Also the verse was even better on that version.

My theory is the original idea was the get money sample version but it didn’t get cleared so they had to improvise and make a new beat around Drake verse after it blew up. I think if the OG drop and give me 50 doesn’t leak this may have not been released
