why are people acting like future is dropping posthumously itt, let's say streaming era is 2016-present future has dropped like 8 albums in that time

yeah but his peak was right before that.

    lil baby peak is now.

this a silly thread tho. ofc lil baby is bigger than Future ever was. the environment allows for that.

    Future isn't a young artist. He's almost 40.
    Different eras and fan bases.

His style isn't as cac-friendly as Lil Baby either.

    Stop acting dumb.

You act like Future being an old man isn't still making youthful ass music that is being consumed by white teens. This is rap, white kids love it. I promise you the fanbases are probably overlapped

I understand what you’re saying but I’m saying his artistic peak missed the current climate.

if you import Future’s 2015 into the streaming era then we can have a discussion, but he just missed that

Not sure but Lil Baby is super mid and hard for me to listen to because for me he is the face of the decline in my enjoyment of music

Ever since he came on to the scene every rapper started to put out boring ass playlist type albums with the same monotone Gunna type flow

    Future >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The wizard himself dropped multiple classics that are actual album experiences

  • I don’t even like Lil Baby like that but anyone denying he’s up there with 2015 Future popularity wise is tripping and stuck in the past
