i think the discussion about him being slightly overrated on all-time lists (imo) due to his lack of solo music was initially started in good faith but the pendulum has def swung too far in the other direction

None of the people you mentionned have "solo" album per say. There are more people working on a Kanye West, a Drake, a kendrick album than people working on Outkast albums.

This makes no sense. You are ignoring the definition of solo album to prop up Andre which he doesn’t need. He admitted in the past that he has no solo albums. How is Kendrick albums not solo albums when he writes all his music.

The Love Below is an Andre album. Idc what he says, to me it's an album that was bundled with another album bc of marketing. The thing is, it's more of an overall awesome music album (pop, funk, jazz, electro, psychedelic, hip hop) rather than just the pure hip hop album everybody wants from him. Still one of the best albums ever made tho.

He's got more good verses than most rappers tho. think of all the hooks and verses he wrote when he was in outkast, that's what cements him, all the features are just a bonus

i don't think lauryn hill is the goat female but she does have all the music she made with the fugees so she's not a 1 album artist. there's the live album of new material kanye got All Falls Down from too

some greats don't have much music tho. No one doesn't call Biggie and Hendrix goats cos of it.
