Imo they’re pretty equal as rappers it’s just Andre style is more unique so he has more influence.

Bourbon Benincorrect, they were about the same level on southern, but dre surpassed him when he expanded his subject matter on atliens and big boi just kept rapping about what hes always rapped about. Dre got more interesting as time went on and big boi stayed the same;
