    gkmc birthed FHD
    TPAB birthed 4YEO
    DAMN birthed KOD
    Black Panther birthed ROTD

Cole has been blatantly following every move Kendrick makes for the past 3 albums and a compilation. I like the albums and that’s probably my only problem with them is how transparent the influence can be sometimes. Is it possible that Cole is just sitting there waiting for Kendrick to drop something so he knows where to go next?

That’s maybe up to preference but there’s no doubting without Humble ATM doesn’t happen. An even more shameless and sad rip off is A Tale of 2 Citiez being a bootleg mAAd city and then there’s She’s Mine pt 1 and 2 biting For Free/For Sale. S*** is uncanny for real

Did you listen to the albums fam? You must have some kind of bias if you don’t see it. Especially with KOD and DAMN.

DAMN opens with an interlude that centers around the phrase “you decide”

KOD opens with an interlude that centers around the phrase “choose wisely”

It’s not even remotely subtle. And Cole admitted he made KOD because he saw the DAMN tour

    Gkmc was in 2012

And the Cole album has TWENTY FOURTEEN right in the title

But they’re 4 years apart lol. Corn Dinner dropped less than a year after gkmc so he was already working on that album
