I’m not white though. And I don’t need to be American to identify Kendrick’s core audience. The Western world is culturally homogeneous, we’re all living under the influence of American soft power unfortunately.
What are you then
Was thinking about this earlier this week. Now that all the fun drake hating is over, liking Kendrick is nerd s*** again
Any f***ing brand or corporation is willing to talk about racism and its effects or mental health. It’s consensual. Kendrick hasn’t said anything relevant about those topics since Section80.
clearly you havent listened to kendricks content, he has talked about racism and mental health plenty since that tape. on every single album actually
clearly youve been hurt if you think any artist talking about those topics is a corporation taking advantage.
still doesnt explain how its "liberal rhetoric", you sound like someone who insults things a "woke" all the time
Why would y'all be embarrassed when y'alls fav rapper won in the GP lmao even w/ stans being annoying as s*** I fail 2 see what there is 2 be embarrassed abt
Muslim North African.
They not like us, they not like us, they not like us

Clearly you’re too mentally challenged to understand that a sentence like “he hasn’t said anything relevant about those topics since Section80” implies that he mentioned those topics since but hasn’t said anything relevant about it. Pretty redundant, heh? But that’s what it takes to educate with an idiot.
Clearly you’re too stupid to understand that I’ve never said that.
Kendrick’s discourse is liberal because it’s fundamentally idealistic. It never accounts for materiel reality. It’s bourgeois in essence.
They not like us, they not like us, they not like us
“They not like us, they not like us, they not like us”
Yes, it is. Cultural specificity has been slowly replaced/poisoned by the cultural hegemony of American imperialism.
We operate within the same structure of capitalism and social norms or whatever but I don’t have the same culture as some dude from Sweden or whatever

Those cultural differences are residual. You miss the big picture if you insist on them. Which is pretty much what nationalist c***s tend to do when they glorify those remnants of a past that will never be recovered.

holding Kendrick to some arbitrary standard of if he is a materialist in his songs as if that’s why people like him is dumb
yes he idealistic and liberal as is most artists and people living under the prevailing system. You’re not enlightened for pointing that out
kendrick and all artists can still connect with listeners on relevant issues that speak to them as individuals, it doesn’t matter if it’s revolutionary or operating in a materialistic framework for it to be good
ur just using Marx to b**** about obvious points in Kendrick that can apply to most artists
you already said you weren’t black and aren’t from America so you attempting to a***yze it under the guise of “cultural homogeneity” while failing at that is hilarious
not even in the slightest
we outside
while c***drake stans still on here making their 9475th thread trying to reverse the L lmao

Not really. It’s just acknowledging the reality that different groups of people in different parts of the western world have different cultures.
“They not like us, they not like us, they not like us”
Projecteur projecting, what else is new
10 likes for op, 40 likes for first response, looks like you re silent minority
im speaking for the silent majority, but it feels like everyone took it overboard with the Drake hate during the beef. Pushups and Euphoria was good songs but man after Meet the Grahams it all went downhill. Why did kendrick resort to relying on twitter Stans to craft a narrative? The rumors got to his head and sucked up all the fun out of the beef for the sake of engagement.
I tried to enjoy Not Llke Us and MTG but man it doesn’t feel the same once everything was debunked. I haven’t liked a kendrick album since DAMN but if he comes with this energy I’ll be excited.

He literally turned Aubrey into a meme.

They've reached "J Cole went double platinum with no features" and "You wouldn't understand Cole's music, it's too deep" territory

I’m not talking about the quality of the music, you miserable tard, I’ve been listening to his music since 2011. Your whole response is a huge strawman argument.
If an artist tries to make political statements, he wants to pose as a relevant voice for our era, he ought to be criticized for his politics, his discourse and the way he conveys his ideas.
Drake doesn’t feel the need to pose as an important political voice so criticizing him on this ground would be stupid. Do you get it? Or are you too stupid to understand like most Cuckfolks?
North Africans can’t be black now?
Typical liberal cuck who thinks his personal feelings and moral sensibilities account for an accurate assessment of reality
North Africans can’t be black now?
Don’t tell him about Black Berbers or Sahrawis, the cognitive dissonance might be too strong for him to handle.
