That's true, but I dont have the serial numbers. Plus I dont have anyone on my side, Statefarm adjustor thinks im suspicious and I have to meet with heir attorneys and swear under oath. They are going to try and paint a picture from me being in debt and try and say that's why im filling this claim.

I mean most people do not keep the serial numbers on stuff. They’re not going to charge you with fraud, they would most likely deny your claim. I think you’ll be fine. Swearing under oath isnt a big deal, because you’re being honest. Just be upfront about everything. But again, it’s all about doing what makes you happiest and if this stresses you out, then maybe what makes you happiest is letting go of it! Ive also never had to deal with insurance before, so im going off of assumptions, but Ive just never heard of someone getting charged with fraud when they were making an honest claim. They are just trying to not give you the money they owe you.

In your next email, suggest that you feel that the insurer might be acting in “bad faith”

What if I asked them about only claiming one item like my e bike? I'm wondering if they'll waive the examination under oath thing if I agree to cover the more expensive items on my own.
