I'm def cancelling Statefarm renters insurance, not has been horrible. I would expect better treatment than this, but it is what it is. I've heard good things about assurant.

They find my claim too suspicious, judging by their email, they want proof of everything. iCloud registration, serial numbers, receipts, contact information, and bank statements. It's just too much. I was told that they only go this far if they're convinced they can catch someone committing fraud and prosecute them, so it's a no-go for me.

It’s a lot of work, but you really could get it done in an afternoon. If you look at it like a job, you’re getting paid a lot of money an hour to get your stuff, which is hundreds of dollars. Just a thought! If you’re not committing fraud, they won’t have the proof to prosecute you, you’re making an honest claim. Just a thought, but do whatever makes you happiest man. That's true, but I dont have the serial numbers. Plus I dont have anyone on my side, Statefarm adjustor thinks im suspicious and I have to meet with heir attorneys and swear under oath. They are going to try and paint a picture from me being in debt and try and say that's why im filling this claim.
