Project Shadowglass -- A Thief spiritual successor with dark fantasy RPG elements. Very cool 3D pixel graphics. Seems to be in very early stages tho so don't expect much (alpha demo soon?)

Metropolis 1998 -- SimCity 2000 spiritual successor, recently announced in alpha phase with demo on Steam. Dev put out a cool 2 hour playthrough of the game at its current state a few weeks ago. Most notable modern mechanic is very in-depth citizen simulation (including you able to design interior/exterior homes)

SPRAWL zero - Basically Half Life 3 if it came out in 2005. Heavily 2000s-inspired fast-paced shooter. Strong emphasis on level design and player choice in how to overcome situations/fights in game

Mina the Hollower -- Coming out on May 29th, 3 days!! Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages inspired and described as having a very Miyazaki-like approach to how levels should be designed. Really good OST, amazing sprite graphics, and made by the same studio who made Shovel Knight. Out on all consoles and PC
