Most people in the army will straight up tell you to join the Air Force instead because you'll get better quality of living.

So if your scores are good enough on the REAL asvab, you should keep your options open.

The Army was not my first choice lmao. Qualitfied for every job in the air force, but they f***ed me over and didn't let me join.

It’s sorta hard to avoid at least indirectly supporting and benefitting from American+Western global racism/imperialism, but choosing to deliberately and directly support those aims is another thing. If you’re cool w joining, supporting, n being totally invested into that culture n mission then so be it! Just don’t be surprised or offended when some people don’t fw you or your connections
