I buy roughly one cartridge a month for $50. How the f*** are they spending that much on weed? Are they smoking out everyone they know?
Literally non stop weed and dabs bong rips every 20-30 min

And literally they are like highly functional and have a well paying job and independent 😭
This is why marvel rivals is so fire. I have more hours in it than any other game i play consistently. 100 hours in just 4 months. Proves that people dont have to pay for fun games at all
I get that on some level it's bad for the consumer, but Idk what the real solution is because it's not like prices have increased with inflation

My physician doing dabs before performing my endoscopy

if they functional they functional
unironically though if you're not making enough to spend $80 every few months, just get a new hobby
no wonder you have a mario profile pic, you're some nintendo d*** ride i see it now
nintendo when they realized fans will not only pay increased prices but will also bend over backwards to defend their right to charge them

Fam thats not how inflation works. Video game companies dont have to raise prices on digital media every 4 years just to turn a decent profit. Is that true in any market? Does food go up a dollar every year?

yeah i see what you're saying
Like at the end of the day its digital media. Inflation doesnt impact its production all that much

To stick it to the man I switched my Nintendo billing address to New Hampshire so I don’t pay taxes on $80 games. So it’s basically like I’m buying a $70 game with tax
#quickmath
I do if i want to play it at launch. The limitation i'm talking about is exactly that of having to wait for a price drop just to play a f***ing game.
Games are $80. They've gone up 1/3rd of the price since 360/PS3 gen. You aren't willing to pay that. Why do you HAVE to play a game at launch or complain about the fact that you can't because it's too expensive when you could just...wait for it to inevitably get cheaper
During that time you could cop other games that are now cheaper because you waited, there's no reason to play games at launch other than FOMO/spoilers. Just sounds like entitlement
Meanwhile our prices of games have doubled in that same period. From 700 to 1500. I wasn't even willing to pay 700 for 360 games, so I've bought barely anything at launch on PS4. Still have too many games in my backlog and not enough time to play them all
If you aren't willing to pay $80, get a new hobby. Or get you a PC and try emulating. Because it's only going up from here

Consumers will always have a say
people will pay $50 for one league of legends skin, an $80 game is not a crazy ask with how budgets have ballooned, but im not paying that much
new generation consoles and aaa games are completely uninspired, pc gaming, playing indie titles, and being patient waiting for sales is the best route in 2025
yall are so brainwashed like they arent nickel and diming us on every corner
we're not even getting good completed games for $80
not to mention charging us for online which is literally all pure profit basically
mario kart world at $80 is a good, completed game (and it was $50 vs. just buying the console)
Consumers will always have a say
gamers are the most weak willed consumers in the entire world tho sadly
