yall are just a highly empathetic, very emotionally charged bunch on this site. imagining an idealized world that doesn’t exist.

If I sought out asylum in Japan tomorrow, maybe they’d let me in for a while. Should I expect that I’m good for life and they couldn’t decide to kick me out at a moment’s notice? Of course not, because it’s not my country. Is Japan an evil Nazi country for making me leave?

You have no idea whats happening in the US as is made evident by your every post.

How do we think immigration should be handled? We have laws to where people can seek asylum. People are supposed to have due process at the very least but that has been ignored. These people are kidnapping them straight out of their immigration hearings if not before. Thats if they even get one.

And there's also the fact of the US role in destabilizing countries where a lot of migrants come from in the first place. But that takes it down another path i don't think your brain in its current form can handle.

These agents are covering their face for a reason. Because they don't want to be held accountable for the illegal abductions they're doing.

People's rights are being eroded as we speak

@russianbot23 you f***ing pussies always want to try and stir s*** up and when you get a serious response ignore it. Just squirm around purposely missing the point so you can feel morally and intellectually superior when you can’t even stand on your position enough to engage earnestly. F*** off

Expecting the constitution and due process and laws to be followed is not a utopian open border fantasy bro

Like there's extra problems, on top of the usual immigration problems the US has, going on. And that's why there are protests.

And this new administration has literally made it open for white people to feel that they have power to be racist again and to put immigrants down even if they are here legally..

Immigration in the US is actually below average relative to its population size. Mexicans make up the vast majority of immigrants to the United States. The United States, under either party, is to blame for taking advantage and employing a large number of Mexicans in low-skilled, low-paying jobs, so it's their fault. Now they're deporting people like them.

And, if you've done any research, you'll notice that they are forcibly removing people, whether they're legal immigrants or not, without due process, which is against the law. The current administration granted ICE the authority to do so, and some of them were shipped to countries from which they did not originate.

Any country that promotes "freedom" should be able to accept asylum seekers who simply want to thrive and live without fear, but fear is present in the United States these days.

yall are so emotional on this website 😭 take a deep breath. Some people are going to have to go back to living in their native countries. It’s a shame that we don’t live in a perfect magical beautiful world and we can’t all hold hands and sign kumbaya and let everyone in and let everyone stay and we can’t all dance under rainbows forever. Maybe one day :)

Okay bro. Hopefully this issue doesn't eventually reach your doorstep or someone you care about (although caring about something is probably too emotional and you seem like a big stoic). I hope you make it to be part of the club!

You know what I mean. compared to other western states, especially those who accept immigration. Conservatives usually post total numbers or even compare the amount of immigrants they get vs Canada, ignoring the total population of the US

The vast majority of the world should be considered an ethnostate. It’s pretty much the natural state of human cultures.

America is an extremely unique experiment in racial and cultural integration. It’s far from perfect, and work has to be done to make it continually functional. Sometimes that work is messy unfortunately.
