They just want to vibe and no one from our generation or even theirs can change that . Ian could say “ hey let’s research origins of hip hop and I want to become a mote vulnerable real artist “

People would boo and he would lose his fanbase

Can’t be shocked kids that grew up with fast internet no dial up , have never purchased a cd in their life on release day or been in a fye or ran to a Best Buy , who have always had CarPlay never forced to radio or make a cd want to vibe

Why we mad at them vibing ?

What that got to do with us ?

I’m not mad at them vibing at all, I love vibes. I’m more annoyed that it seems like that’s all they want to do. Just be cool airheads. It just feels too one dimensional to me.

Like damn don’t none of these cats find excitement in doing the slightest google? No one wants to actually be different & that’s why everybody sound like they from Atlanta. It’s jarring to me.

Idk maybe im just old at 24.

i’m actually laughing at how fitting it is in regards to this convo, about how boat and his past with that notorious budden clip is the guy that gives ian his first big feat

I mean the last 4 years if their youth was a pandemic for me that was the end of my 20s . If someone was early 20s or late teens for past 4 years the internet basically fried their brains in my opinion

Like ktt was okay overall but the internet by and large if someone didn’t go outside enough fried them

Even you at 24 some handled it well past 4 some didn’t . Some seek information question things some don’t . Even at my age and later it’s the same but more on politics and serious topics

Kids and youth want to vibe and do d**** / drink

Exactly that I mentioned that clip early on so people see the cycle and they don’t get it
Tyler isn’t yelling like Budden but youth will view him as they viewed budden as a hypocritical hater mad at who is hot right now

Even if Tyler exponentially more successful than budden in art and merch

    “ black folks criticisms “

Nigga I got criticisms of future how can I invalidate what I understand

you literally tried to absolve him for lying about his substance abuse in his lyrics because hurr durr capitalism is the true evil and art is art. That's what you've been doing this entire thread - policing the way a Black person speak on the commodification of Hip Hop/Black culture and trying to invalidate our points because you don't think we went deep enough or because we've said some problematic things in the past.

do you ever read your own posts and see just how annoying you actually sound? you sound like the annoying parody of white radical leftists in Bruce LaBruce's The Raspberry Reich

It doesn’t absolve him . He isn’t on lyrics saying d**** are cool . It’s storytelling.

“ you’ve been policing a way a black person speaks” I’m black and older or close in age to Tyler

I would and will bet Ian’s streams go up not down this week so what did Tyler accomplish?
