His delivery fell off from his peak where he was actually the goat but he’s better technically which is what he cares about now.

He was a gray rapper man. The issue is his albums just don’t hold up. When I was a little kid it was amazing and funny. Going back now a lot of songs are corny bro. I wish he was a little more serious back then.

Relapse is a classic example of revisionist history. It does sound great compared to his albums that came out after it.

I agree he’s probably got better in his flowing as his career has aged (probably cause he rhymes more now) but his delivery has absolutely cratered.

He got s***ted on for his shouty delivery on Recovery and BME and now is overcompensated with his whisper delivery.

Just listen to how he sounds on this and regardless of what he’s rapping about people like it cause it’s Snoop level smooth
