Can’t stand Hamilton. It got a bunch of credit for being a HipHop musical, and a bunch of smug theater people acted like they were so brave for that but the music doesn’t sound HipHop at all. It’s a very stereotypical musical theater sound, from the hooks to the beats. Fans act like it’s a sacred text or something. Complete and utter 🌽
