Are you saying sociopaths go to therapy and are aware they’re sociopaths?

People with those personalities find it hard to admit they have a problem there "special" and "victims" everyone else is the problem so they avoid help for as long as possible but there comes a time where push come to shove if you're living like that. If your a sociopath and you're running amuk leaving a trail of chaos everywhere you go you might eventually look at yourself and realize your the problem and try to get help. I don't think personalities like that can even change there brain theyll always be and think the way they do. However they can learn to spot triggers coming to avoid snapping on people they "love" they can teach lovers and other people that are in relationships with them how to avoid fanning the flame etc.... A person who f***s everything up has to realize there the common denominator at some point

    frequently comorbid disorders

a narcissist only kares about him/herself but not necessarily at the suffering of others

a sociopath only cares about making others suffer..

Have them do something dangerous or something that would be way out of the average human's comfort zone and see if they do it with 0 fear or apprehension

Not necessarily telling them to do that thing cause that would give away your doubts but sitting back and observing in case that thing happens

    What do you mean?

When dealing with abusers, manipulative people, or sociopaths they know exactly how to move to find their next victim. If they know you've been through situations with people like them prior, they adapt accordingly. When the traits start to show and the red flags are going crazy you'll be so caught up with them that your brain will try to rationalize their actions as you overthinking because of trauma and you write it off. It can definitely be easier to spot them from an outside perspective, but when you're dealing with people personally you tend to overlook blatant signs when you genuinely like them
