I stopped checking for his music after if you're reading.
And I used to exclusively bump SFG, TML, TC, NWTS respectively when they were released.
S*** is so low effort now, only literal simpletons claim his s*** is still fresh and good. He makes music for them now. Which you can't blame him for, cause it's an easy demographic to please.

BurylyAfter hearing the demo tape and two new songs Drake previewed, I’m not certain about how the next album will turn out. I’m not really feeling these songs, maybe cuz I’m starting to get tired of this style Drake been doing. Along with muddy, goofy sounding 808’s and bland drums, like wtf happened to the crisp sound of his older music. Not trying to say his next album will end up being another 4/10 weedplate, but not to the level that people been hyping it up.
If his next release turn to be average again, lowkey I’ll have to stop checking for his music. Hate to feel this way, since Drake has been one of my favorites from the start.

HENNYGODHNDRXXIm very optimistic for the album. My only thing, which is a personal opinion, is that im not really a big fan of the Losses/Gold Roses type production. Drake seems to be a big fan of it based off a quote posted , I dont think I can fully enjoy a full album of that type of production. 1-2 tracks of that type of production would be the sweet spot for me

How about we wait for the album and find out. The Demo Tapes isn’t really a good indication of his album direction apart from a few tracks. Remember, Florida and Deep Pockets are were made for Scorpion.
The features are joints that he could’ve easily just given out like Look Alive. The fresh songs like War, Chicago freestyle, WTSW, Losses, Time Flies, Desires, and Not You Too are promising indications of his current creative headspace.
The Greece song and Not Around are also very dope and sound fresh. Let’s also not forget that he literally just said that he’s making more reflective music like Losses and has been taking his time. He also has a whole ass almost 3 year old kid and you know for a fact that his son will inspire new content. Dark Lane is a tight 14 tracks and he explicitly said that his next album won’t be 20 songs.

Ive come to the conclusion that too many people want too many different things from drake and will never be satisfied with what he releases
