After hearing the demo tape and two new songs Drake previewed, I’m not certain about how the next album will turn out. I’m not really feeling these songs, maybe cuz I’m starting to get tired of this style Drake been doing. Along with muddy, goofy sounding 808’s and bland drums, like wtf happened to the crisp sound of his older music. Not trying to say his next album will end up being another 4/10 weedplate, but not to the level that people been hyping it up.

If his next release turn to be average again, lowkey I’ll have to stop checking for his music. Hate to feel this way, since Drake has been one of my favorites from the start.

It’s gonna be the same formula as the last 3 albums. There’s no reason to think otherwise at this point

I liked the demo tape but the fact that he said the album is gonna sound like ‘losses’ worried me cause that was my least favorite song

he said on NightOwl Live that the album is really reflective similar to Losses. I'm glad he is but I hope he doesn't make it boring, but I know he got it in him to make thoughtful but still musically catchy music. 4 PM in Calabasas is a perfect mix of bars and good sounding music

I have almost the exact same feelings. I prefer D4L and Not You Too to all the introspective rapping tracks on D4L, mostly cause they bored me in a way

Graduation changed the game aesthetically and content wise. S*** was the final nail in the coffin to gangsta rap. Doubt drakes next album is gonna be that powerful
