    Damn

i’m not even tryna clown @op bc he sounds just like me.

i had to make a resolution at the beginning of the year to be less judgmental of people. when you give yourself grace, it becomes so much easier to extend that grace to others. @op seems to struggle w both going by the way he talks abt himself and other people. it’s holding him back

once you realize most people are alone throughout their day with just their headphones/books/thoughts, the less you’ll worry about the need for friends all the time. or you can keep chasing that need and get further away from yourself

  • i feel the same but from a different perspective

i really do want to like people and in my mind i‘d like to think of myself as pro human and pro empathy but in reality i dont really enjoy the presence of anyone around me or anyone i know and rather be alone than spend time with them for multiple reasons

i grew up like this tho always been lonely and isolated

my mother genuinely has ZERO friends and hasnt had any for the last 20 years or so and she raised me on not needing friends and how most people just end up leading you down the wrong path or doing u wrong n s*** like that, i completely disagree though that woman is just deeply traumatized

in theory i know how damaging it is to be isolated like this but in actuality i can‘t seem to change anything abt it

all friendships or relationships i ever had went to s*** bc of me so for the last 2-3 years or so i just gave up on trying
