they are in the credits of the video
I appreciate the response but I just watched the credits of the video and didn’t see a def jam logo or mention, just Blonde and Boys Don’t Cry. Maybe I’m missing something. Apple Music also doesn’t show a label for the video like it would for an album at least for me, I’m not sure if it used to

man you dumb as bricks
Def Jam counted it as an official release
Endless "fake album" ish is dumb tho and just created by people upset at the Endless stair stream - it is an actual project and the songs were genuine worked on songs with Vegyn, he just didn't put any effort into it outside of the music to not waste his own time getting out of there and to not give anymore money to def jam
That's the facts, but on my own conjecture:
Vegyn so f***ing underrated. Almost tagged plants cause of headache lmao
That Endless and Boys Don’t Cry hype from July - August 2016 was some of the most fun I’ve ever had on the internet.
Finna get a boys don't cry tattoo fr like 5 different references all together with that
the fake out wasnt fake album vs real album it was artistic album vs commercial album
It was definitely mixtape v. Album to me
Vegyn so f***ing underrated. Almost tagged plants cause of headache lmao
he is like listening to the future lol only way to describe it

I just meant “fake album” for the sake of the convo and from Def Jam’s POV. Endless is obviously an incredible album that had blood, sweat, and tears poured into it, but the label really couldn’t profit off of it in any way since it wasn’t released traditionally
I would argue blonde is more experimental honestly because of what it does with traditional pop song structures and melodies
Endless does that too though, and it’s even more extreme
Blonde is obviously experimental as well but there’s still a bow of palatability wrapped up on it
His contract was drafted in like 09 lol
I feel like his contract def got reworked once Def Jam cared enough to back an album release
No way they saw nU drop and cO roll out without making amendments

Open endless on pc Apple Music and its copyrighted to DJ
Didnt endless drop as a release only on apple music? How did we consume it?
Answered your own question
It only exists outside of physical media as zip files and Apple Music
Y’all really fall for them industry tricks
He just dropped his music and they made a whole backstory for it, more sells

This is why I think @2words may have somewhat of a point
If he only had one album to fulfill left on his deal, it makes no sense why Def Jam would allow a video-only streaming release that they can’t fully profit off of be the album that fulfills that deal, it doesn’t sound right unless there’s something we don’t know

Well clearly they couldn’t choose to allow it or not

You’re greatly overestimating the intelligence in the halls of Def Jam in 2016
