8 pages in and nobody linked an interview/documentary explaining how TES was crafted (music, lyrics and/or concepts on it)....
I really wish eminem would do like a masterclass sit-down about TES since he produced, iirc, the whole record.
would be interesting as hell imo
just so you guys know I’m currently playing mmlp and it’s for sure better than tes
It’s also his only good album, MMLP is wildly overrated, it’s mad childish too
If MMLP is childish then so is s*** like Without Me lol

Incorrect
His rhyming was on another planet
People on here seem to have an issue with MMLP's content and immaturity in its lyrics, not the actual music itself.

Easily

Dumb complaint, every em album suffers from s*** like this
I don't really mind the immaturity and goofiness of Em's first 2 albums. They both kind of remind me of a South Park episode. Crude, but insightful and witty.
I will say though rapping wise Em's peak was TES. His flow was godlike during that period.

Every em? Like each era of eminem?
MMLP >>>>
His one GREAT album.
SSLP and MMLP are 2 sides of the same coin idk how u like one and not the other

Idk what they mean by immaturity
listen to Marshall Mathers once and understand how in his pocket he was in when he recorded this
ppl just hating now
MMLP is better but it don’t got Hailies Song
Em during that period was so good, he was able to pull off a mainly singing song and it worked so well.
He tried the same formula on MMLP2 with Stronger Then I Was and it was absolute dogshit.
Crazy. That album isn't cringe at all
Every little decision he made was tasteful
He wanted to prove to the media that he could make an album without shock value so he made tes. Too bad 8 mile came out after and started his crippling d*** addiction
Em’s voice on The Eminem Show is way better than it was on his first 2 albums
His voice didn't really start to change until Encore though. He still had a fairly high pitched voice during TES too.

Kurupt, Busta rhymes , the outsidaz, wu members also had godlike flow, basically that was the standard for a significant amount of rap of that era , but I didn't go back to TES in recent times so give me your picks for eminem godlike flows I'm not doubting he has it, I just want to listen to that em again
