decent movie tbh, slightly better than the OG. Ryan Reynolds really got some terrible facial hair in this tho.

best of the 3 films, anchored by the excellent performance of heather o'rourke in her final film role
Fire? Bet ima have to peep
lemme know what you think
Any other older gems? I feel like I’ve seen most of carpenter’s stuff, but tryna find some rare ones

Honestly I’m open to it all. Aliens, possession flicks, demons, alldat. But one series I can’t get myself to watching is the Saw s***. Just something about torture gets me, but I don’t mind blood or gore so yeah it doesn’t make much sense lol I can’t explain it

I have been tryna find more gems from the 80’s and 90’s too

I would say if you're into supernatural stuff check out the Phantasm, Hellraiser, and Warlock franchises. I did reviews of all the Hellraiser movies on the last page if you need tips on which ones to check out. also recently I really f***ed with Pet Sematery II, if you want something thats both scary and kinda goofy from the 90s.
the first Saw movie is actually one of my favorites and there's not really much torture in it at all, its more like a really intense episode of SVU.

I feel like Phantasm got progressively worse with every movie in the franchise, yet I’ll still binge all five anytime the opportunity comes up
The first one is probably top ten for me though when it comes to horror.

I love all 5 of em, the last one had me teary-eyed at the end. yeah yeah I know, bad CGI, lots of greenscreens, etc. the emotional closer was still satisfying.

I’d heard nothing but bad things about Ravager before I saw it and I was actually pretty impressed with it. My favorite part of the franchise is Reggie’s willingness to get laid no matter what else might be going on in the world.

the girl with the bald fetish in part II

Oh okay word bro, thanks! And in that case ima peep Saw. I know there’s some crazy twists in the series of flicks and I have yet to get spoiled, so I got that to look forward to.
Def gonna check out hellraiser and Pet Sematery II. Did you f*** with any of the remakes?

filmmakers took a wild left turn with this one and gave us a New Nightmare-esque meta slasher complete with Pinhead dropping one-liners & tormenting a bunch of h**** teens at a Hellraiser themed rave. s*** is nutty. Lance Henriksen in full-on villain mode dominates. I kinda liked it, even if the film doesnt fully live up to the premise.
Good s*** with all these reviews bruh, you putting this thread on your back.
What’s your fave hellraiser flick outta all of em?

you mean like the remake of Hellraiser or just like remakes in general? a lot of em suck but there's a lotta good remakes too tbh. House on Haunted Hill, Black Xmas, Th13een Ghosts were all pretty fire. also the Amityville remake was solid, I seen that one recently.

if you didn't have fun watching this I can't trust you. they should've gave this a UHD before that garbage friday the 13th reboot got one.
Rewatched all the Final Destinations. Working on the Saws.
First time seeing this one. A lot lighter than I imagined it would be. Good stuff.

I wanted to like this because I know it's a bit of a cult classic for some people but I straight up couldn't get into it. way too many scenes of Stacy Keach talking to himself. not enough Jamie Lee. it looked really nice tho.

That stuff is definitely dated, but I thought it was kind of charming. 40 minutes of it, and when she shows it's a lot more sensitive. When she goes it turns into a Hitchcock movie.
Nothing else like it

one of my favorites, the perfect combination of elegance and sleaze. christopher lee is truly the goat at playing a smug english b******. shockingly explicit for a movie from 1960.

friday the 13th 2009 is one of the best in the series.
