Great boss fight! I do think some patterns could be unavoidable if you got caught on the sides but if you stay in the middle it’s pretty easy and plenty of opportunities to heal

Just got her. What did it is having a lot of masks starting Phase 3 and already enough silk to heal thanks to Silk expander.

The pogo traversal in this game is f***ing awful

Equip wanderers crest and get good

If you still have the Hunters Crest, get the Reapers Crest or the Wanderers Crest.
You can find the Wanderers Crest very early.
Wanderers Crest basically changes your entire moveset to the Knight’s moveset from the first game.

Though I do agree it’s a bit of a missteps that they start you off with a Crest that has an awkward pogo, and give you know hints or direction towards changing jt

yeah Skarrsinger Karmelita is definitely the hardest boss so far

Blasphemous is on par visually but leans way more Castlevania than Metroid

Animal Well is incredible too but it's p much all puzzle/exploration over combat

and obviously Super Metroid

I know it looks like you dont go as high but I know for a fact that ur not locked out of doing anything with a specific crest

First beastfly is the hardest boss in the game, mainly because it's attacks are so simplistic. I was really like why can't I beat this f***er.

Yes, Wanderers crest is like playing HK with Quickslash. I started using it late in the game and immediately felt overpowered.

Even late in the game, the second Beastly was tricky. I had to be perfect and kill the adds as soon as possible...which was weirdly satisfying, I have to admit it...

The trick is to pogo

And unlimited tools just dump tacks at phase 3

i am usually pogoing after her jumping spin attack but i might need to do it more

been using the cogwork wheel for phases 2/3 but fight is so fun i kinda feel bad using tools at all

also why i dont really mind that i still haven't beaten her

and i know technically i could skip her by just getting another heart instead but why even play act 3 in the first place then
