I have spent the last 3 hours trying to beat lost lace and I can’t f***ing do it man.
What part of the game were ppl struggling with? I saw a lot of complaining that the game was too difficult
Hardest parts for me were the High Halls gauntlet and the gauntlet in the locked part of Deep Docks with the kamikazes.

Mmm I haven't gotten there yet I started act 2 not that long ago

IMO there was much more room for error in this game.
Finished the game with all endings and 95% completion. I need to do the hunter journal and some items I have missed. For some reason I also need to encounter 5 more enemies, so I missed something.
I hope in the next game we can play as both characters. Dont really need a new protagonist.
ne omw to the Pinstress battle thinking it's gonna be a cool little 1v1 fight
then seeing her just flying around like 7491739 other enemies
boss and enemy design is such a hit and miss in this game sadly

finally beat the game this evening and here are my thoughts.
hands down, one of the best Metroidvanias of all time. this game shines more than its predecessor in every single way. the gameplay loop, albeit quite hard at points, always kept me engaged and looking forward to the next boss/area to explore. the score was beautiful and I would love to hopefully have it on streaming to listen to regularly. I wanted to also shoutout the cutscenes and how great they were animated. even though they were sparse, it added to the overall mystical quality of the game. I also loved how challenging this game was at points. I'm usually one to shy away from harder games (Souls, Soulslikes, etc), but I really wanted to reach the true ending of this game, so I continued to persevere and even though the true final boss took me at least 50+ tries, it was extremely satisfying to win. this will stand as one of my favorite games of the year, if not my favorite, and I hope Team Cherry continues to put out bangers for years to come (take all the time you need).
10/10

agreed on all parts, this is a staggering work of art

Groal
High Halls gauntlet
Act 3 final boss
Skarrsinger Karmelita
I love reading people struggling with Last Judge. I guess they didn’t have Magma Bell? Boss is slow and can be dodged consistently. But everybody struggles with different things…I hate when I have to watch the boss and something else at the same time for example (I never bought Cuphead for this reason).
Lord I beat grandmother silk ass on second attempt after switching to fully upgraded hunter crest
That damage boost is crazy if you can weave consistently
i just defeated Tormented Trobbio and died at the same time
this must be how people who died at the Last Judge explosion felt

Did you do it? It feels like I am waiting for good RNG in the third phase because I know how to dodge everything, but between random contact damage and punishing RNG (you’re sometimes just…stuck), it feels like a low point to end.

Shes a good boss but yeah that s*** was infuriating at times

Im most likely late but the soundtrack is on streaming already !

Tormented Trobbio was very good at having a lot of stuff on screen without making the boss a constant almost invisible menace.

Definitely agree there his moves were better telegraphed too
Way too much visual clutter in the Lace fight

finally did bro. it was so gratifying to beat it. I really just had to fully lock in because that third phase is f***ing ridiculous.

no way!! thanks for letting me know man

Under Christopher Larkin ! Also got the first games soundtrack on there
Dominated the flea festival took me less then 5 tries each
I feel like act 3 bosses have been easy too second trying everything. The hard part of act 3 is changing your late act 2 muscle memory just blasting into rooms because in act 3 you’ll run into different void mobs unexpectedly and boom 3/4 health is gone
