I feel like if anything this film deserves a rewatch. There are some good concepts and performances, as well as some great cinematography. I felt that it went a little too overboard when it came to visual symbolism. Sometimes some shots felt like they were crafted with intent, but the problem is that i don't know what the intent was. I kept trying to piece everything together but the film wouldn’t let anything sit. The first third of the movie was great, and it lost me a tiny bit as it kept going. The ending for sure is divisive. I liked it for its gaudiness, but again, what’s the intent? Tyriq Withers though? Future star. And this may be one of my favorite Marlon Wayans performances.

Some parts for sure. The influence is there, it kind of felt like Jordan Peele endorsed cosplay? Not in a bad way.
I think this is more closer to Get Out than Nope in terms of the vibe. Like something is off (in the movie, not necessarily the movie itself) and you are figuring it out as you go along.

Not anywhere near say Terrifier but it does earn the R Rating on the gore factor
