I think there's two possibilities. Either Larys got to him or he was imprisoned by the Tyrells/Tarlys as they support Rhaenyra's claim and they're from the Reach and Otto went to treat with them.

I actually don't mind we don't know, I'm guessing they'll address it next season.

HBO have the Last of Us 2 and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (Another GoT spinoff) next year so I'm guessing that's why

mostly because the season ended like a penultimate episode. If we some fight or at least one person of worth die I think we would be kinda satisfied

I don’t think the night king himself matters in that vision, it’s just displaying the death that’s been referenced

Its what happens when u make a show on like 7 chapters of a book when the last show was based on like an entire book per season lol

Other than having those other high budget shows like the guy mentioned, HBO is also in a way worse financial situation than where they were at that point in time. Im sure that hurts the turnaround time too

I think it would helped alot with the shows pacing, but they prolly wanted to have dragon fights right away for the ratings

they had good character moments and great scenes imo as well as few dumb moments. idgaf s*** was still great.

Tbf this show is like movie quality special effects and locations etc, im sure 2 years is the absolute best they can do without butchering it

I also think this show is gonna have to do a lot of heavy lifting to show HBO that these GOT spinoffs are financially viable. So they probably streamlined the f*** out of it

I can’t imagine how hard it is to pitch anything to David Zaslav lol
