Him continuing to lament his d***s condition in more and more detail as larys is trying to console him is far and away the funniest scene this show has ever had
Realest moment of the finale.
The "war" season that featured literally zero sword and shield battle field clashes
damn you said f*** the brackens huh

They ain’t even show any of that did they?
Couldnt even be bothered to have a map with pieces changing/moving around along the way nothing, just council meeting after council meeting 100% tell everything don't show anything
Alt Shift X has to work overtime
Daemons vision gave me hope for a season 8 revamp or at least GoT continuation post s8

the aftermath :zucclaff:

One could only wish.

Literally just cut to a pile of corpses, didn't have time for an actual fight too many council meetings they needed to use that time for

I thought for sure we'd see at least one of those altercations
Literally just cut to a pile of corpses, didn't have time for an actual fight too many council meetings they needed to use that time for
Didn't even show what Williem did
As much as we dog on this show, be grateful Netflix didn't get the rights to this

Was thinking the same thing
unless they do some really random s*** the Night King is neither Daemon nor Aemond

Would be disgusting lol
rather have penny pinching money grubbing f***ers at HBO...at least they give the show runners some creative liberty
Netflix's version would just be a series of advertisements (ignoring S8 and its product placement + cameos) and attempts at moving merch...with some zany millennial-focused humor
I just need someone to talk too about the Night King in the vision. Why he have hair? Is it Daemon or Aemond? Heleana said he died and was in the sea and no one found him.
was that supposed to actually be the NK
I feel like it could've just been a general

Dawg the script would be soooo s***
Couple that with some janky CGI dragons and ugly fire effects, and you're all set!

HBO shows just have that extra prestige aura to them and how they re made/production values
Netflix is more trashy fast food entertainment and no matter how much they spend the s*** always comes off cheap from the writing to the effects acting ect, ESPECIALLY their movies

House of the rebel moon basically
Do they make physicals of the seasons for this show? Cause if not they should just release a special or an add on episode next year to bridge the gap and give this season more finality
Idk how that would work financially or contractually but they did it with Euphoria so maybe they can figure something out. (I’m aware the Euphoria specials were extremely small scale)

yeah I think they could even give the same budget as HBO and it'd still feel second rate
there's just an expectation that we have for HBO products that doesn't exist for Netflix. THIS season, with all of its warts, would be a crowning achievement for virtually any Netflix show
House of the rebel moon basically
Be even more glad that Zack was never attached to any project involving Westeros
