aglowIt is curious that the overwhelming majority of characters adapted from books very rarely stay super faithful to the source material's characterization. And usually people don't seem to care much - except when it comes to skin color.
Like, EVEN if that mf is both black, and a Targaryan - who cares? Targaryans aren't interesting because of their skin color. GoT Targaryans also greatly differed from the books, interestingly enough.

in the books targs had purple eyes, in the show they don't. in the books all the stark kids have reddish hair, in the show robb, rickon, and bran all have black hair. it's whatever

I originally had no interest in watching due to how GoT ended and I also was not a fan aesthetically speaking of how they made the Targaryen’s look in the show. Primarily the horrible wigs. Didn’t wanna see an entire cast composed of that.
