We’ve never even had a female president in real life… idk if you’re accounting for how big of a deal it would be in this medieval time for all the lords to accept it. I’m all for it if it’s the right woman. I’m not seeing anything showing me she’s the right woman, even though she’s likable enough.
The first born son is the heir by all laws and customs.

There’s no actual bad guy in this show so far, I thought that crab feeder dude was about to be the villain so I don’t really know where they’re going with this. Kinda seems to me like they’re building up Daemon to be that.

Yeah, they're all sympathetic in their own way. Rooting for Rhaenyra and Daemon the most obviously but Allicent and Viserys aren't bad people.

idk i think they might. it's feeling like this is a boiled down/smaller scale idea of what the GoT show did, but i mean truthfully it all depends on what the book was about.
daemon probably going to be the closest thing to a villain this season i feel

I understand, I actually kind of agree. I saw a glimpse of how raw she could be when she killed that boar. She’s what like 15 or some s***? She’s still a damn kid lol I know it’s much different than how society works now but I could see her turning into a bad ass like Arya.
Another reason I don’t think they’re going to pivot much from her being the heir is because of women empowerment and representation. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing either. They should show her trials and tribulations and make her EARN being the queen instead of just giving it to her because “women strong” it would make for a great story

Idk if there is gonna be a villain like joffrey or ramsay tbh, unless that person just hasn’t been introduced yet.
but the way things are headed viserys is definitely gonna kick it and then the main conflict will probably be who gets the iron throne after, so I can see daemon or corlys being the antagonist if that’s the case

shaleiroseIf that’s the case, they had a golden opportunity to visually show the audience how gifted a fighter Daemon is by having the Crabfeeder fight be on screen.
You don’t set up an antagonist like that and have an entire two year conflict with said antagonist and then get rid of him offscreen, that’s horrid writing

Corlys velaryon plot for his kids to be king/queen

Or the princess side
It a succession story after all
