They made bad decisions with her character very early on and didn't know what to do by the time S2 rolled around. Not sure why the 1 plus size character needed to become a teenage cam girl in her first few episodes. Any average person in that role would have brought up issues with Sam

Kat spent all of S2 literally walking backwards and sideways

ctfu sam ruined her character then got her out the paint

Damn, I feel like Alexa/Maddy won’t be back either, right? Or it was at least heavily hinted in the S2 finale.. feel like Season 3 is gonna be one of those things that feels like a completely different show, especially if that timejump happens too.

Season 1 >>>> Season 2 easily

Season 1 was legitimately a good show. Not perfect, but well produced. Season 2 was a trainwreck. An entertaining trainwreck we looked forward to watching, but a wreck nonetheless.

Yea there's no debate that season 1 was better, it actually really really love that season and have watched like 3 times

Season 2 is gorgeous as hell though, one of the best looking seasons of any show I've ever watched. Shooting it on film was a really great decision .
But yea season 2 is still a big mess for sure

The look of it was guaranteed to be good. They always have amazing visuals. But the writing on the show took a massive nosedive. Would’ve been complete garbage if they didn’t have the talented actors and actresses they have.

Is season 3 happening?

Yea season 1 looks great as well, but they REALLY stepped it up in season 2 with the cinematography

And yea the show is for sure carried by the acting
