I think they using high school. Cause it's 10x more shocking if it's high schoolers instead of college
High school is usually preferred than college cause not everyone can relate to college in america but everyone has gone to high school, so high school is often picked to reach a broader appeal.
Ngl that was probably the worst episode of this entire show
Couldn’t disagree more. I thought it was one of the best TV episodes of all time
it def felt like an extras episode
considering it was an episode that the entire season built up to, I dont know how you think this
What grade are these ppl in? Sr in HS?
i feel like Rue, Lexi and Jules are in 11th grade
Idk about the others like Cassie and Maddie i feel like they're 12th grade cus Nate was def a senior. Cassie is like 18 months older than her sister but none of the students show any signs of graduating soon. I guess the show doesn't really care about their school side tho

Haven’t both seasons been the same school year too?
Like we’re technically in the 2nd semester. The 2 special episodes was in winter break I think. The idea of time and this show got me confused
People really not liking the ep
Literally the best ep of the series to me
I think the best episode is either Episode 7 of Season 1 or Episode 5 of Season 2, this episode was cool it just didn’t stand out plot or character wise, it just had a lotta visual appeal
is there going to be more laurie in the finale
havent seen her since that rue episode
I feel like most of the storylines are gonna wrap up in the next episode, everything’s gonna seem ok, and it’s gonna end on a cliffhanger with Laurie coming for Rue

Nah, Cassie is gonna shoot up the play and kill her sister on stage bet
I really really loved the score of this episode. Everything sounded so whimsical and dreamlike
And this is also probably the best looking episode yet
Just a gorgeous episode all around
yea the score was amazing

yeah its the same year
Maddie, Cassie and Nate i'm pretty sure are seniors
Rue, Lexi, Jules i'm pretty sure are juniors
Kat is a toss up but prob a junior since her and Jules did the same summer school prior to S1
Thought it was a decent, calm before the storm type of episode. I’m surprised people didn’t like getting more background on the characters, I thought that was always a criticism of the show. Plus Lexi got to shine which is a plus.
I feel ya.
I always felt it was unfair when euphoria was criticized for not being a realistic teenage experience. It was never trying to be.
But still, the investment, and the buy in, we give to any piece of media, is on a spectrum. You can’t just say, oh, this show isn’t aiming for realism, and have every line be whatever is cool. The show actually has dialogue that often feels real. Within a heightened world.
But there’s a line, there’s levels to it.
So my line is the play.
I don’t like it as a narrative device.
I don’t like it mythologizing the characters.
I don’t like what it means for this world.
And I still don’t know exactly why I come down so hard on this, or what exactly I expected, but that’s how it shakes up.
I’m with you on this one. The play is jumping the shark a bit. Doesn’t totally ruin the show for me, I’m excited for the next episode, but I feel like they should’ve found some other way to get this point across instead of a play.

“It didn’t move the plot forward”
Blah blah blah
Jules is out thankfully, rue mom said f*** rue, Lexi is a god, we got less Kat thank god, Nate and Cassie are done, and fez is f***ed.
That moved the plot plenty

How many calms b4 the storm do we need bra
