i need you nailed to a cross with salt poured on your wounds for saying its top 3 ye
i said personal top 3 not objective top 3
It’s objectively a bottom 3 Kanye album that was probably as rushed as that Nasir album was. The whole era is based around s***ting out a bunch of 20 minute long albums while wearing a highlighter color shirt in Wyoming.
his last good project
some classics like ITAKY, Ghost Town, Violent Crimes & Yikes
still way worse than anything that came before it
i need you nailed to a cross with salt poured on your wounds for saying its top 3 ye
Very good album
Content wise didn’t age well with what became of Ye, but the music is really interesting imo
Quick, concise and in your face listen
this was the beginning of the end for him
this was his first of many bad albums, pablo was final good solo release
Very good album for me personally and I don't care about other opinions
Of course it's not top 5 in his discog but who cares
CD, LR, Grad, Dark Fantasy, Yeezus, Pablo all much better - I fail to see how this could be anywhere near the top of his discog
It's against tough competition in saying that but it's still just not very good at all
Also this album never tried to be better than all of his albums before so I hate that comparison
I Thought About Killing You aged the best in terms of his “attitude.” I always revisit it in the same vein of the IFLTs and other vulnerable self examination tracks whenever he gets into some s***. Its one of his best intros conceptually.
I dont really hold the rest of the album in the same regard, except for maybe Ghost Town in a different way. Ref track lowkey ruined Violent Crimes for me.
It is the decent
was a good EP when it dropped
still a good EP today
calling it an album - i mean i get that he called it an album but lets be real it's an EP and let's judge it as such. it's 23 minutes
(and it's a very good 23 minutes of music)
one of my favorite first listens ever but yea this is just decent
nvm wouldn't leave to violent crimes is a great run, but them first 3 tracks suck
Kanye fans always want to put his worst albums in their top 3 so they can act like he never fell off. No sane person thinks this is better than CD LR Grad or MBDTF.
I mean there such thing as personal taste. Personally I like Donda more than TLOP. Does this mean that I think its the better made album? Not really but I like it more because the songs resonate more with me
